F. A. Q.

Our vision is to make a meaningful difference.

We inspire High-Tech-Gurus to 'Pay it Forward' by sharing their newfound knowledge with others.

This begs some questions:

Why 'Pay it Forward' with your Newfound Knowledge?

When you learn something with the thought that you may be sharing what you learn with others - your learning is enhanced. In the process of training others, you reinforce what you have already learnt and learn new ways of doing things.

Instead of repaying a favour to the person who helped you,  'Pay it Forward' by helping others without expecting anything in return. This promotes the idea of spreading kindness and making a positive impact on society by encouraging individuals to selflessly help and uplift others, creating a chain reaction of goodwill.

Is there a Catch?

No.

You can often benefit as much as the recipient by passing your newfound knowledge on for free.

However, whilst we explain the benefits of  'Paying it Forward', and provide the resources to help you do it, whether you choose to pay it forward is entirely up to you.

Explain HTG's/NFPTV's Digital Signage

HTG/NFPTVs use digital displays, such as LCD screens, LED panels, and projectors, to spread information, advertisements, or messages in public or private spaces. This involves hardware components like screens and media players, which are responsible for displaying dynamic content such as videos, images, and live data feeds.

Digital signage offers several advantages over traditional signage, including the ability to remotely update content via the Internet, in real-time to signs at multiple sites. Remote updating delivers targeted messaging and can provide interactive experiences.

Digital signage is widely used in various environments such as retail stores, airports, restaurants, corporate offices, and outdoor locations to enhance communication, engage audiences, and deliver timely and relevant information.

What's the Difference Between an Intranet and the Internet?

HTGs, among other things, help people build sites for Intranets as well as for the World Wide Web, i.e. the Internet.

The Internet and an Intranet are both computer networks, but they serve different purposes.

The Internet is a global network that connects billions of computers and devices worldwide. It allows people to access a vast amount of information, communicate with others, and use various online services. The Internet is open to the public, and anyone can connect to it using an Internet service provider (ISP). It relies on a set of standardized protocols and technologies to ensure communication and data transfer across different networks.

On the other hand, an intranet is a private network that is limited to a specific organization, such as a company or a school. It is designed to facilitate internal communication, collaboration, and information sharing within the organization. Unlike the internet, which is accessible to everyone, an intranet is restricted to authorized users within the organization. It is protected by security measures like firewalls and passwords to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the internal information.

In summary, the Internet is a vast global network that connects computers and devices worldwide, allowing public access to information and services. In contrast, an intranet is a private network that is limited to a specific organization, enabling internal communication and information sharing within that organization.

At HTG, we show you the advantages and benefits of both.
